Energy

The energy market is in the middle of a major upheaval, which is determined by three major structural changes.

Firstly, an adjustment of the portfolio structure among energy producers, dictated by international climate targets. The share of renewable energy in electricity consumption will reach a peak, despite delays in the expansion of wind power. The reduction of coal capacities (halved in the last five years) and the phase-out of nuclear energy is progressing. Secondly, the further evolution of the electricity grid to enable new business models (smart home, electric mobility, etc.) and thirdly, a change in customer needs for a positive customer experience, which requires investments by energy suppliers in a competitive, digital system infrastructure.

  • Increased efficiency of service planning through methodology improvement and use of digital service operation applications (field service management, mobile technician applications, etc.)
  • Re-engineering of the end-to-end process of remote and field support
  • Design and implementation of intelligent service concepts (predictive and production-based maintenance)
  • Lean Maintenance - Optimization of On-Site Workflows in the Maintenance of a Power Plant with Lean Management Methods
  • Optimization of logistics networks (spare parts, plant erection), implementation of "delivery-to-turbine" concept
  • Implementation of an end-to-end customer journey (multichannel approach)
  • Process improvements of Customer Relationship Management - Supply Chain Management - Distribution - Service
  • Optimization of the IT system landscape to create the basis for successful digitization
  • Targeted enhancement in data analytics and front-end applications
  • Implementation of competitive cost-to-serve operating concepts
  • Concept: Uniform, simple payment systems and operation
  • Establishment of a cross-system service and logistics infrastructure
  • Project structuring in the nuclear environment
  • Personnel planning of dismantling activities
  • Simulation of emplacement planning
  • IT requirements Container management and logistics
